Data protection
The protection of personal data and their confidential treatment is an utmost concern of our visitors. BODE Chemie GmbH is aware of that. Hence, we would like to outline, which information we collect and how they are handled.


Update of this Privacy Policy
Due to constant technical and legal innovations we have to change or update following Privacy Policy from time to time. Before each use of our website, therefore, please have a look, if a revised version has been put online. The last update was made in May 2004.


Type of collected information

  • We collect collective data, i.e. data on the number of website visitors and the pages they visit. In detail this means that for each retrieval following information is stored: file name, date and time of retrieval, transferred amount of data, and a message, if the retrieval was successful. These data give us information about general interests and preferences of our visitors. The data are non-personalized, but of general, statistic nature. We cannot retrace, which user retrieved which data.
  • In addition, we collect and store automatic information, which is transferred by your browser; in particular your IP address and the version of your browser software. These data are a basic module of internet technology and are only collected for system administration and correct website transfer purposes.
  • In case you send us e-mails under ‘Contact’ or request information material on other pages, we kindly ask you to submit your name, your address, your occupational group, your e-mail address and your age. These data are stored. Please note that not all of this information is mandatory. To a large extent it is therefore in your hands, which information you entrust to us. Mandatory data are necessary in order to fulfill your requests. As a matter of course, you may also appear anonymously and under a pseudonym respectively.

All data are stored or processed separately, and are never consolidated. BODE Chemie GmbH does not create any user profiles.


Period of storage and cancellation

Personal data are stored for 6 months at most, or until your request is fulfilled. Of course and at any time, you have the option of having your data cancelled partially or completely. We will comply with your request immediately.


Use of Cookies
We use cookies to personalise and enhance your experience on our website and to collect statistical data on the use of our site. A “cookie” is a text file sent by a web server to your web browser, and stored locally by the browser on your computer. Basically, this enables the web server to recognise the web browser. Our website’s cookies do not collect any personal data on you or your use of this website. You may refuse the use of cookies or delete them respectively by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software or deleting the cookies from your hard drive. On this website data is collected and stored for marketing and optimization purposes with technologies of the etracker GmbH. From this data, profiles are provided using an alias. For this cookies are used. Cookies are small text files, which are stored locally in the buffer of the visitors’ internet browser. The cookie makes it possible to recognize the internet browser.
Without the separately given agreement of the website user, the raised data is not used to identify the visitor personally.
The data acquisition and data storage can be cancelled at any time with effect for the future.

Transmission to third parties

BODE Chemie GmbH does not pass collected data on to third parties; in particular the data are not sold, leased or exchanged. Only if we commission subcontractors or servants in order to fulfill your requests, we transmit data to the necessary extent. In this case, we commit our partners to keep the data in confidence in accordance to the legal regulations, and to immediately cancel them, as soon as they are not needed anymore. However, please understand that we cannot comprehensively control the compliance with these obligations. Hence, we do not assume liability for possible infringements.


 
Right to Information and Public Directory of Procedures
Upon request, we inform you in written form and in accordance with the applicable law, if and which of your personal data we stored. In our Public Directory of Procedures we summarized information under the terms of Article 4e BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act).

Data collection, processing and use only take place in order to carry out above mentioned purposes.
5.Description of the group of targeted persons and of the data and categories of data pertaining to them:Customer data, employee data and supplier data as far as they are necessary in order to fulfill the purposes named under item 4.
6.Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data can be disclosed:Government agencies when required by law or regulation, external contractors according to Article 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act, and external agencies for the fulfillment of the purposes named under item 4.
7.Terms for data cancellation:After expiration of the legal, statutory or contractual retention periods, the data are cancelled. Any data not covered by the foregoing are deleted as soon as the purposes named under item 4 do not apply any longer.
8.Planned data transmission to third countries:Transmission to third countries is not planned.
