Hand Hygiene

Pathogens are mainly transmitted via hands. Hence, proper hand hygiene is of vital importance to effectively protect patients and staff against infections in healthcare settings. Primary elements of hand hygiene include hand disinfection, correct use of examination and protective gloves, and the right placement of dispensers.
