MRSA

Thanks to their unspecific mode of action disinfectants also kill multi-resistant bacteria (here: Staphylococcus aureus before and after the use of disinfectants)
Staphylococcus aureus

Methicillin-resistant or multi-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains. The most frequently identified antibiotic-resistant pathogen in and outside hospitals which first developed resistances to all antibiotics with beta-lactam structure. Meanwhile, MRSA are resistant to further groups of active substances, i.e. they became multi-resistant. Infections with MRSA that are not acquired in healthcare facilities are also referred to as community-acquired MRSA (cMRSA).
